2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Our Philanthropy Fair is fun opportunity to celebrate and learn about the various philanthropies we serve, while earning hours with our daughters. Last year’s Philanthropy Fair was held at the Willow Glen High School Cafeteria and featured guest speaker “Lauren Cook: The Sunny Girl” who spoke on the benefits of being positive and grateful, and enjoying every moment. Following the speaker, each member visited multiple stations learning about our philanthropies and doing a philanthropic activity. Philanthropy day is special because it is one of the occasions each year in which the entire Chapter comes together.
Mother Daughter Tea
Our annual Mother -Daughter Tea is held each spring, this year at the Fountain room in the Fairmont Hotel in downtown San Jose. Each Ticktocker class has a stake in the event because each class is responsible for an element of the Tea, from the centerpieces and invitations to the favors, placecards and program. The Tea begins with a formal receiving line consisting of the Senior Ticktockers and their mothers. After enjoying a delicious and elegant formal Tea, an Awards ceremony is held recognizing the hours and efforts put forth by individuals in the Chapter. It is a memorable and cherished event where Patroness and Ticktockers enjoy their time together socializing in a beautiful setting.
